General Operator Job Opportunity!
Our client, a leading agricultural company, is seeking a General Operator to join their team. As a General Operator, you will be part of the Production Operations team supporting Harvest, Packaging, and Warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be reliable, safety-conscious, and adaptable, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: General Operator
Location: Switz City, IN
Pay Range: $19.50/hr Day Shift | $21.50/hr Night Shift
What’s the Job?
- Assist with seed handling, processing, and general production activities during Harvest season.
- Package, bag, label, tag, and palletize seed products.
- Move, stage, organize, and prepare materials and products throughout the facility.
- Assist with warehouse activities, inventory tracking, and loading/unloading as needed.
- Follow work instructions, safety procedures, and quality standards while maintaining a clean and organized work area.
What’s Needed?
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 60 lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, use stairs, and work in indoor and outdoor environments.
- Reliable transportation and availability to work the required Harvest schedule of approximately 42 hours per week, including long shifts and overtime as needed.
- Ability to provide and wear steel-toe, over-the-ankle work boots and successfully complete required pre-employment drug and background screenings.
