Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing, is seeking a Machine Operator to join their team. As a Machine Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Machine Operator
Location: Mission, TX
Pay Range: $14 (1st shift) $14.25 (2nd shift) $14.50(3rd Shift)
Shift: 1st Shift (Monday – Friday from 6:00 am to 2:00 pm)
2nd Shift( Monday - Friday 2PM to 10PM)
3rd Shift (Monday - Friday 10PM to 6AM)
What's the Job?
- Perform mold changes, including setup and removal, following safety guidelines
- Connect and troubleshoot water, hydraulic, and air lines, as well as hot runner controllers
- Install end-of-arm tooling (EOAT) and participate in continuous improvement activities
- Maintain accurate mold and tool locations and prepare molds for production runs
- Perform basic preventive maintenance, clean molds, and address mechanical or operational issues
What's Needed?
- High School diploma or GED required; trade school or technical certification preferred
- Minimum of two years of hands-on experience in an injection molding environment
- Familiarity with connecting and troubleshooting water, hydraulic, and air lines, as well as hot runner controllers
- Experience using material handling equipment such as cranes, hoists, pallet jacks, and tool carts
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and electronic diagrams and schematics
