Machine Operator I

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Machine Operator I (US) to join their team. As a Machine Operator I (US), you will be part of the production department supporting manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Inspect workpieces for defects and measure workpieces to ensure accuracy using measuring instruments.
• Observe machine operation to detect defects or malfunctions and make necessary adjustments.
• Read blueprints or job orders to determine product specifications and plan operational sequences.
• Set up and operate various machines such as lathes, cutters, shears, and drills to produce metallic and plastic workpieces.
• Perform minor maintenance tasks like oiling, cleaning, and replacing worn machine accessories.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0-2 years of related experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of machines, tools, and their maintenance.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical instructions.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
