Our client, manufacturing and industrial operations is seeking a Machine Operator to join their team. As a Machine Operator, you will be part of the production support team supporting manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Machine Operator
Location: West Union, SC
Pay Range: $21
Shift: 2 on 2 off 3 on schedule
What's the Job?
- Operate machinery to produce lead grids for car batteries
- Set up and tend casting machines to form lead into slabs
- Use milling machines to shape and cut lead slabs
- Ensure quality control during manufacturing processes
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
What's Needed?
- Steel toed boots for safety compliance
- Ability to wear a respirator while working
- Willingness to work 12-hour shifts
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs consistently
- Reliable and punctual work ethic
