Maintenance Mechanic

Our client, in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join their team. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be part of the manufacturing support team, ensuring the smooth operation of production equipment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Location: Minnetonka, MN

Pay Range: $31-33/hour

Shift: Monday through Thursday, with occasional overtime on Fridays and on-call support on weekends. Hours per shift: 8

What's the Job?

• Provide technical support related to manufacturing equipment by repairing, maintaining, or modifying machinery.
• Diagnose equipment issues and perform necessary repairs to minimize downtime.
• Document equipment qualifications, upgrades, preventative maintenance, and parts used in the MP2 maintenance database.
• Maintain backup equipment and ensure spare parts inventory levels meet manufacturing needs.
• Assist engineers with equipment operation, development, and improvement initiatives.

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of related work experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong attention to detail when performing preventative maintenance activities.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair complex equipment independently.
• Excellent organizational and planning skills to manage multiple projects effectively.
