Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing and logistics industry, is seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join their team. As a Material Handler, you will be an essential part of the operations team supporting inventory management, product handling, and warehouse efficiency. The ideal candidate will demonstrate physical stamina, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Material Handler
Location: Lackawanna, NY
Pay Range: $21/hour
Shift: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday – Friday
What's the Job?
- Handle and move products manually, ensuring safe and efficient transportation within the facility
- Maintain accurate inventory records using both physical counts and computer ERP systems
- Operate manual jacks, two-wheelers, and trucks to facilitate product movement
- Assist with tilting and strenuous work activities to support warehouse operations
- Support overtime work as needed to meet production and shipping deadlines
What's Needed?
- Ability to lift and handle products weighing between 50-250 pounds
- Experience with inventory management and ERP systems preferred
- Physical fitness to perform strenuous manual work
- Comfortable operating equipment such as manual jacks and trucks
- Strong work ethic with reliability and attention to safety protocols
