Mechanical Assemblers

Our client, an industry leader in industrial distribution and fabrication, is seeking a Mechanical Assembler to join their team. As a Mechanical Assembler, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting various shop operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, teamwork, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Mechanical Assemblers

Location: Baltimore, MD

Pay Range:- $19.00 per hour

Shift: 8:00 am = 5:00 PM

What's the Job?

• Assist in all areas of the shop, including gasket, hose, mechanical seal, cylinder repair, and conveyor belting departments
• Use various tools to measure, manipulate, and cut gaskets and fabricate hoses and related products
• Participate in inventory cycle counts and maintain organized stock
• Operate equipment such as gasket presses, cutters, punch presses, and assist in painting and testing hoses
• Support mechanical seal disassembly, cleaning, bead blasting, and shipping activities

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
• At least 1 year of industrial shop experience preferred
• Basic computer skills are advantageous
• Ability to use a tape measure and perform basic math operations
• Ability to operate a forklift upon certification
