Packaging Technician

Our client, a leader in the pharmaceutical and biotech industry, is seeking a Packaging Technician to join their team. As a Packaging Technician, you will be part of the Manufacturing Support Department supporting the Packaging and Labeling team. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to work independently, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Packaging Technician

Location: Mount Prospect, IL

Pay Range: $19

Shift: First Shift (Tuesday - Friday, 5:00 am to 3:30 pm)

What's the Job?

• Label, assemble, and package pharmaceutical products
• Perform manual or automated filling and packaging of blistered and bottled pharmaceutical products
• Accurately count and prepare packaging components to ensure proper accountability
• Ensure quality and productivity requirements are met
• Clean packaging rooms and machinery following SOPs and cGMPs

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing or packaging environment
• Basic computer skills
• Manual dexterity, attention to detail, and ability to perform repetitive tasks
• Ability to work in cold environments (-8°C and -20°C) and meet physical requirements
