Our client, Industrial Manufacturing is seeking a Paint Line Loader II to join their team. As a Paint Line Loader II, you will be part of the Manufacturing Paint Department supporting the Production Team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, a steady focus on quality, and the drive to keep production moving—skills that will help you succeed in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Job Title: Paint Line Loader II

Location: Wichita, KS

Pay Range: $21/Hr

Shift: 1st shift

What's the Job?

  • Load the paint line by manipulating (manually and mechanically) purchased and fabricated parts, weldments, and sub-assemblies to route and process through paint department equipment to achieve quality painted parts.
  • Support paint prep work as needed, including blowing debris off parts and masking/cleaning surfaces prior to painting in the oven.
  • Perform material handling tasks: move detail and assembled parts, attach and remove parts to/from conveyor components as instructed, and attach adhesive parts together.
  • Match parts to part numbers, keep accurate counts and identification, and handle parts according to general procedures and specified quality requirements.
  • Complete minor painting rework and other assigned tasks (including grind booth work such as sanding down rough edges on welded cabs) while maintaining strong housekeeping and following safety guidelines.

What's Needed?

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 2+ years of experience working in material handling, logistics, and/or warehouse operations.
  • Ability to perform essential duties, including operation of a fork lift truck.
  • Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle.
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; must also meet physical requirements including lifting 50 pounds and overhead work lifting/taking down parts at least 67 inches from the floor.
