Our client, Industrial is seeking a Painter I to join their team. As a Painter I, you will be part of the Production team supporting manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to quality, a safety-first mindset, and the drive to learn and apply proven touch-up painting techniques—so you can help deliver finished parts and assemblies that meet required specifications.

Job Title: Touch Up Painter 

Location: Wichita, KS

Pay Range: 23.22/Hr

Shift: 1st Shift (7am - 3pm)

What's the Job?

  • Apply paint to parts and assemblies to meet required quality and finish specifications.
  • Maintain equipment in a touch-up booth and determine the proper method and degree of rework needed for satisfactory finished units, parts, and assemblies.
  • Perform coating repairs using hand tools and accepted touch-up painting application procedures.
  • Apply top coat paints on parts previously painted while still in the wet coating stage—without flaws.
  • Support strong housekeeping practices and perform all tasks within safety guidelines and company policies.

What's Needed?

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 2+ years of experience working within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • 1+ years of experience operating painting equipment and/or working on a paint line.
  • Proven ability to use proper touch-up techniques.
  • Aptitude to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; ability to work successfully with computers and software; ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
