🏭 Production Associate – Extrusion Operator

🕒 Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM (Start Sunday Night)

We are currently hiring a Production Associate (Extrusion Operator) for a manufacturing facility. This position is ideal for candidates with prior manufacturing experience—extrusion experience preferred—who are reliable, detail-oriented, and eager to grow.


📌 Position Overview

Under the direction of the Shift Leader and Production Supervisor, the Extrusion Operator is responsible for setting up and operating machinery used to combine dry and liquid materials into finished products. Safety, quality, and efficiency are top priorities in this role.


🔧 Key Responsibilities

  • Set up, start, and operate production equipment in compliance with safety and operating procedures
  • Weigh and load materials according to product specifications
  • Monitor production processes and troubleshoot equipment issues
  • Inspect materials to ensure quality standards are met
  • Perform machine cleaning, maintenance, and changeovers
  • Complete production logs, reports, and system entries accurately
  • Follow all safety, environmental, and company policies
  • Communicate issues to supervisors and support continuous improvement efforts

✅ Requirements

  • 1–3 years of manufacturing experience (extrusion preferred)
  • High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong attendance and reliability
  • Coachable and open to feedback
  • Mechanical aptitude and critical thinking skills
  • Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
  • Ability to read and follow instructions in English
  • Computer proficiency (email, MS Office)
  • Forklift experience preferred

💪 Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for up to 12 hours
  • Frequent use of hands and arms
  • Repetitive bending, stooping, and lifting
  • Lift up to 55 lbs occasionally
  • Must be comfortable working in a production environment with noise, machinery, and PPE requirements

🦺 Work Environment

  • Exposure to machinery, airborne particles, and varying noise levels
  • Required PPE includes respirators, hearing protection, gloves, hard hats, and steel-toe boots
  • Safety is a top priority—strict adherence to EHSS policies is required
