Production Associate

Our client, a leader in manufacturing, is seeking a Production Associate to join their team. As a Production Associate, you will be part of the production floor supporting day-to-day operations that help create specific products in accordance with specifications, instructions, measurements, and prototypes.

Job Title: Production Associate

Location: TRAVERSE CITY, MI

Pay Range: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour based on shift

Shift: 1st shift is 6:00am-2:00pm Mon-Fri and 2nd shift is 3:00pm-11:00pm Mon-Fri

What's the Job?

• Load and unload materials onto or into machines by hand or with equipment provided, including pushing, pulling, lifting, or stacking.
• Operate machinery by moving levers, pedals, plates, dials, blankets, and other controls as directed.
• Replace and/or clean worn parts such as guides, cutting tools, and brushes to keep production running smoothly.
• Inspect material and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the lead operator while following ISO procedures as directed.
• Maintain a clean, orderly work area and follow all prescribed safety regulations at all times.

What's Needed?

• Basic comfort with mechanical applications and a willingness to learn machine functions.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions, including adding and subtracting simple fractions.
• Ability to work independently or in a team while maintaining strong communication.
• Ability to lift 35 pounds frequently throughout shift and up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Job requires a pre-employment drug and background screening.
