Our client,a leading electrical component manufacturer is seeking a Production Associate to join their team. As a Production Associate, you will be part of the Department Name supporting Team Name(s). The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on quality, a commitment to safety and process discipline, and the drive to troubleshoot and improve daily operations which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Production Associate

Location: Fort Payne, AL

Pay Range: $16.00 per hour

Shift: Monday - Thursday 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM

What's the Job?

  • Complete manufacturing equipment related installations and ramp-ups to support production readiness.
  • Gather, record, and analyze production information to help maintain accurate operational performance.
  • Perform repair and retest for product and/or manufacturing facilities to support reliable output.
  • Oversee use of machine control systems and support their use in manufacturing equipment.
  • Resolve manufacturing-related problems affecting daily operations and complete estimates of requirements arising from process changes.

What's Needed?

  • 2 year vocational training plus up to 1 year experience in specialized processes, techniques, and systems used in a production environment.
  • Basic knowledge of principles, procedures, work routines, and skills in the related field of work, gained through structured and focused vocational training.
  • Ability to operate defined specialized machines and equipment, including basic CNC programming (e.g., setting parameters) to set up machines for production programs.
  • Comfort working with automated line processing and controlling, or operating with a broader range of production machines in production lines.
  • Willingness to follow standardized work routines and use available generic and/or work-specific guidelines and procedures.
