Production Helper

Our client, a leading paper and packaging manufacturer, is seeking a Machine Operator Assistant to join their team. As a Machine Operator Assistant, you will be part of the Manufacturing Operations team supporting Production, Quality, and Maintenance. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a strong commitment to safety which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Machine Operator Assistant
Location: Milwaukee Area, WI
Pay Range: $20.01/hour

What's the Job?

• Set up, calibrate, and operate manufacturing and powered equipment.
• Monitor machine performance and product quality to ensure production standards are met.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and assist with troubleshooting equipment issues.
• Accurately document production data and maintenance activities.
• Follow safety procedures and work collaboratively to achieve production goals and deadlines.

What's Needed?

• Manufacturing experience with a solid and dependable work history.
• Ability to read a tape measure, perform basic math, and read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to work any shift, overtime, and weekend hours as required in a three-shift operation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment.
• Ability to successfully complete a criminal background check, physical, and drug screen.

Shift Details:

• 1st Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
• 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Candidates must be flexible to work any shift after completion of initial training and be available for daily and weekend overtime as business needs require.
