Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in electrical control equipment, is seeking a dedicated Production Tech to join their team. As a Production Tech, you will be an integral part of the manufacturing department supporting assembly and quality assurance processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, teamwork, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Production Tech

Location: Glendale Heights, IL

Pay Range: $18-$20

Shift: 1

What's the Job?

  • Assemble electrical panelboards and switchboards according to customer specifications using hand and power tools.
  • Inspect and test finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and comply with relevant codes.
  • Perform electrical wiring assembly utilizing tools such as wire strippers and pliers.
  • Maintain progress on assigned tasks, communicate any issues or shortages, and prepare products for shipment.
  • Participate in Lean initiatives by suggesting improvements related to quality, safety, and efficiency.

What's Needed?

  • Minimum of one year of experience in an assembly-related role using hand and/or power tools.
  • Ability to work within a 50-mile radius of Glendale Heights, IL (active-duty military candidates exempt).
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Ability to lift 35 lbs regularly and work overtime as required.
  • Effective communication skills in both written and verbal formats.
