Production/Process Equipment Operator II

Our client, Production/Process Manufacturing is seeking a Production/Process Equipment Operator II to join their team. As a Production/Process Equipment Operator II, you will be part of the Warehouse/Material Handling and Production Support team, supporting day-to-day operations that keep units moving smoothly through change-overs, plant upsets, and scheduled counts. The ideal candidate will have a strong safety mindset, the ability to follow procedures and document accurately, and the drive to troubleshoot and support equipment and material flow in real time.

Shift: Day Shift

What's the Job?

• Perform fork truck inspection and operate material handling equipment to move units off line, label, and transport to bays.
• Fill out unit count sheets and enter data into OREM; communicate scrap units to the designated contact.
• Print labels for units and verify board print matches the name on the label for every change-over or start-up.
• Perform cycle counts per procedure and troubleshoot material handler equipment problems as needed.
• Support plant upsets and change-overs by operating the off-stacker as required, using the recycle fork truck during off stacking and leaving the material handler fork truck by the RBA.

What's Needed?

• Ability to follow House Keeping Procedures and maintain a clean, organized warehouse area.
• Comfort supporting operators during change-overs and plant upsets, including assisting with training on other roles when requested.
• Experience or familiarity with material handling tasks such as bringing in pallets for cut off before startup and replacing pallets when full.
• Ability to assist other areas of the plant as needed, including cutting, lifting, and/or moving foam by hand during upsets with direction from the SAC.
• Safety-focused readiness to meet required safety equipment and screening requirements.
