We are currently hiring Manufacturing Associates for a busy machine shop facility in Winston-Salem, NC. Multiple openings available for Grinders, Sanders, and Welders. This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door with a growing company offering long-term potential.

Position Overview

Manufacturing Associates will assist with general production tasks, including grinding, sanding, and welding metal components in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Candidates must be dependable, detail-oriented, and willing to work with their hands.

Open Positions & Pay

• Grinders & Sanders: Starting at $14/hour
  • Entry-level candidates welcome (manufacturing experience preferred)
• Welders: Starting at $20/hour (DOE)
  • Must have valid welding certification and pass required weld tests

Key Responsibilities

• Operate hand tools, grinders, and sanders to smooth and finish metal parts
• Perform basic production and general labor duties as assigned
• Read and use a tape measure accurately
• Maintain safe and clean work areas
• Follow work instructions, blueprints, or specifications as needed
• Support production team in meeting daily output goals
• For welders: perform quality welds based on company and industry standards

Qualifications

• Ability to read a tape measure (required for all positions)
• Previous manufacturing or machine shop experience preferred (not required for entry-level roles)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to stand, lift, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Welders must have:

• Valid welding certification (required)
• Ability to pass pre-employment weld tests
• Experience with MIG, TIG, or other welding processes preferred

Schedule

• 1st Shift Only
• Monday – Friday (overtime may be available)
