Our client, a leading precision spring and wire form manufacturer, is seeking a CNC Spring Setup Operator/Machinist to join their team. As a CNC Spring Setup Operator, you will be part of the Production team supporting manufacturing operations in a fast-paced, quality-focused environment. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and troubleshooting skills that will align successfully with the organization.

Job Title: CNC Setup Machinist
Location: Grafton, WI
Pay Range: $21-$38/hour (based on experience)

What's the Job?

Set up, tool, and operate CNC spring coiling machines and related equipment.
Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments.
Monitor production quality, establish control limits, and maintain statistical process control.
Troubleshoot machine and process issues, making adjustments and programming changes as needed.
Perform minor machine maintenance, repairs, and tooling replacement to ensure efficient operation.

What's Needed?

3-5 years of machining experience, including machine setup.
Experience with CNC programming and CNC machine operation.
Ability to use inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
Experience reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
Strong mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting and equipment repair experience.
