Our client, a leading organization in electromechanical equipment assembly, is seeking a dedicated Switchboard Assembler to join their team. As a Switchboard Assembler, you will be an integral part of the manufacturing department supporting the production of high-quality electrical components. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, teamwork, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Switchboard Assembler

Location: Pomona, CA

Pay Range: $18.50

Shift: 4:00PM-12:30AM

What's the Job?

  • Assemble or modify electromechanical equipment such as switchboards and lighting panels using mechanical tools and blueprints.
  • Operate hand and power tools to process work orders efficiently and accurately.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and related documents to ensure precise assembly.
  • Gather parts and accessories required for assembly and ensure units meet specifications and customer requirements.
  • Prepare finished units for shipping, including packing, sealing, and labeling, while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

What's Needed?

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 6 months of experience in assembly or related mechanical work.
  • Training in assembly processes and familiarity with reading blueprints.
  • Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and mechanical/measuring tools.
  • Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend English; physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs., reach, grasp, and perform coordinated hand and arm movements.
