Test Operator

Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Test Operator to join their team. As a Test Operator, you will be part of the production support team, contributing to the quality and efficiency of manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Test Operator

Location: Horseheads, NY

Pay Range: 22.00/hr

Shift: 11p-7a (training on 1st shift 7a-3p for up to 3 weeks)

What's the Job?

• Perform a variety of processing, assembly, inspection, cleaning, rework, and minor setups related to manufacturing, testing, and shipment of vacuum interrupters.
• Set up and operate equipment to conduct electrical tests, ensuring products meet specified standards.
• Maintain accurate records of production and inspection activities.
• Assemble, pot, test, mark, inspect, and pack assemblies as required.
• Support safety procedures and environmental health and safety (EHS) functions in the workplace.

What's Needed?

• High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
• 1 year of previous manufacturing experience required.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions accurately.
• Willingness to train on first shift for up to 3 weeks.
• Strong attention to detail and safety compliance.
