Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Tool & Die Maker to join their team. As a Tool & Die Maker, you will be part of the manufacturing support team, contributing to the design, fabrication, and maintenance of essential tooling. The ideal candidate will demonstrate precision, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Tool & Die Maker

Location: Archdale, NC

Pay Range: $29/hr with an increase at hiring

Shift: 1st shift, 6am-4:30pm, Monday through Thursday. Overtime on Fridays

What's the Job?

  • Fabricate and repair stamp tooling, including punches, dies, and assemblies.
  • Collaborate with production teams to ensure parts meet dimension tolerances and quality standards.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize designs by working with Engineering and Production teams to resolve die-related issues and improve design for manufacturability.
  • Participate in new tooling try-outs or engineering changes to ensure safety and process accuracy.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on tooling to increase lifespan and produce high-accuracy components and sub-assemblies.

What's Needed?

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in CNC operation is highly preferred.
  • Previous tool and die experience.
  • Knowledge of stamping tools, both progressive and transfer, as well as basic press and feeder knowledge.
  • Good machining skills including setup and ability to machine components to specified dimensions.
  • CAD/CAM/3D experience required.
