Our client, Manufacturing is seeking a Utility Production Associate - 1st Shift to join their team. As a Utility Production Associate - 1st Shift, you will be part of the Plant Manufacturing area supporting Production Operators and the leadership team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, a reliable work ethic, and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions in a fast-paced production environment.

Job Title: Utility Production Associate 

Location: Vonore, TN

Pay Range: $20.47

Shift: 1st Shift Monday–Friday with occasional overtime, 7am–3:30pm

What's the Job?

  • Perform general housekeeping duties to keep the plant area clean, organized, and production-ready.
  • Support product packaging activities and assist with assigned plant support functions.
  • Complete and maintain required documentation accurately and on time.
  • Notify appropriate personnel of issues, problems, or concerns in a timely manner.
  • Assist and support Production Operators with materials and tasks to help keep equipment operational.

What's Needed?

  • High school diploma or GED equivalency.
  • Ability to read and comprehend written and oral instructions in English, including safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and product recipes/materials.
  • Basic mathematical skills to add, subtract, multiply, and divide and apply them to weights, measures of volume, speed, and distance.
  • Effective communication in English in one-on-one and small group situations.
  • Problem-solving skills and some mechanical aptitude, along with manual dexterity to operate small hand tools, scales, carts/hand trucks, utility knife, mixer/blender machinery, and computer equipment (and may require obtaining a forklift operator’s license).
