Welder

Our client, a manufacturing and industrial fabrication environment is seeking a Welder to join their team. As a Welder, you will be part of the production team supporting the fabrication of high-pressure vessels and complex industrial actuator components. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to quality and safety, advanced blueprint interpretation skills, and the ability to maintain active welding certifications while meeting strict traceability and inspection requirements.

Location: Ontario, OH

Pay Range: $23.70

Shift: 6am - 2:30pm or 7:30am - 4pm

What's the Job?

• Fabricate and weld complex pressure vessels, tanks, and actuator components in strict adherence to ASME and other mandatory pressure vessel regulatory codes.
• Execute precision welds that are subject to rigorous third-party inspections at three distinct stages of the production process to guarantee structural integrity and regulatory compliance.
• Interpret advanced engineering drawings and mechanical blueprints to accurately measure, set up, and secure complex fixtures for highly customized production runs.
• Prepare, execute, and validate first article inspections to establish baseline quality and structural standards prior to full-scale production.
• Maintain lifetime traceability by permanently stamping a unique personal identification number into all completed work, while managing continuity logs and certification requirements per site policy.

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in advanced industrial welding, specifically with high-pressure vessels, tanks, or heavy structural fabrication.
• Ability to successfully pass required site-specific certification testing within a maximum of 3 attempts during onboarding, with results verified by an external third-party laboratory.
• Demonstrated ability to read and accurately interpret complex engineering drawings/blueprints and fixture setups; practical assessment will be used during the interview and shop tour process.
• Uncompromising commitment to quality and safety, including the ability to maintain active certifications and pass continuity re-certification as required by the site certification policy.
