Welder

Our client, manufacturing is seeking a Welder to join their team. As a Welder, you will be part of the production team supporting manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, clear communication skills, and a positive, safety-minded attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Welder

Location: Pell City, AL

Pay Range: $23.33/hour

Shift: Monday - Friday 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

What's the Job?

• Perform extensive welding and use welders and machinery associated with assigned job tasks.
• Establish strong communication and working rapport with supervisors, engineers, and manufacturing personnel to support high-quality customer service.
• Understand Douglas products and the mechanical applications in which they are used.
• Read a tape measure to within 1/16 of an inch and interpret engineered drawings.
• Lift up to 50 pounds, stand continuously for an 8-hour shift, and complete overtime as required by the company.

What's Needed?

• Ability to read and interpret engineered drawings and follow precise measurement requirements.
• Experience using welding tools and machinery to complete assigned production tasks.
• Ability to communicate important issues clearly using verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated trustworthiness, strong work ethic, and a positive attitude in a team environment.
• Ability to manage and organize your own work while remaining a team player, including performing extra assignments as required.
