🕒 Shift: 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM (8-hour shift)
💲 Pay: $26.00 per hour
👢 Steel-Toed Boots Required
🚜 Forklift Experience Preferred

About the Role

Manpower is currently seeking a dependable and safety-focused Wire Cutter / Warehouse Associate for a leading electrical distribution company. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately cutting, staging, and preparing wire and cable orders for shipment while operating warehouse equipment in a fast-paced environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with warehouse experience who enjoy hands-on work and are looking for a potential temporary-to-permanent position.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately cut and prepare wire and cable orders for customer shipments
• Operate wire-cutting and coiling machinery
• Perform daily equipment inspections and safety checks
• Load wire reels and thread wire through cutting equipment
• Adjust machine settings to meet customer specifications
• Pull, stage, and organize materials for outgoing shipments
• Operate forklifts and other powered industrial equipment safely
• Inspect products for quality and remove defective materials
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety policies, OSHA requirements, and company procedures
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous warehouse or distribution center experience preferred
• Wire-cutting experience is a plus but not required
• Ability to learn and operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and narrow-aisle equipment
• Basic computer and math skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet productivity goals
• Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime when needed

Physical Requirements

• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly
• Stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and reach throughout the shift
• Work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and noise levels
• Safely operate warehouse machinery and equipment
