Forensic Processing Technician

Our client, a leader in forensic and laboratory services, is seeking a Lab Technician to join their team. As a Lab Technician, you will be part of the Toxicology Processing Department supporting specimen processing and data entry. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and strong organizational skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Forensic Lab Technician

Location: Lenexa, KS

Pay Range: 20.00 (including shift differential)

Shift: Tuesday - Saturday, 12:30pm - 9:00pm CST

What's the Job?

• Sort specimens by source (hair, oral fluid, urine, etc.) and work list
• Complete Maxilog Data Entry accurately and efficiently
• Process urine specimens for regulated and non-regulated testing independently
• Adhere to strict forensic practices and company policies
• Scan and image custody and control forms, ensuring proper documentation

What's Needed?

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Prior laboratory experience preferred
• Ability to sit or stand for long periods and work in a laboratory environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Practical knowledge of computer systems and data entry
