Our client, a leading logistics and distribution organization, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Engineering and Technical Services group supporting the automation maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be safety conscious, mechanically inclined, and able to communicate clearly while working on preventive maintenance and repairs for automation equipment.

Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Location: York, PA

Pay Range: $20-21/hr

Shift: Sun-Wed or Wed-Sat 6am-4:30pm

What's the Job?

  • Maintain automation machines that process items for distribution within a 1.2 million sq. ft facility.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical and other industrial systems under close supervision and guidance.
  • Conduct routine inspections, diagnose potential problems, and complete repairs using established procedures.
  • Review assigned work orders and coordinate with available systems to track completion.
  • Support energy management by helping ensure building systems operate efficiently and safely.

What's Needed?

  • Basic maintenance skills with a strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Safety-first mindset and ability to follow safety procedures, including lock out/tag out.
  • Reliability and willingness to learn while working on the automation portion of the facility.
  • Good communication skills to exchange straightforward information clearly and concisely.
  • High school diploma or GED (trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience also considered); basic computer skills (Microsoft Office products).
