CNC Lathe Operator

Our client is seeking a CNC Lathe Operator to join their team. As a CNC Lathe Operator, you will be part of the Manufacturing Department supporting Production and Machining Teams. The ideal candidate will have mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and independent work skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: CNC Lathe Operator

Location: Tyrone, PA

Pay Range: 17-19

What’s the Job?

• Operate CNC lathes (Mazak & HAAS) to produce precision components.

• Perform tool offsets and routine machine adjustments.

• Conduct in‑process inspections using calipers, micrometers, and gauges.

• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions.

• Identify and report machine or tooling issues to setup or maintenance personnel.

What’s Needed?

• 3+ years of CNC lathe experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Ability to read blueprints and engineering documentation.

• Experience with precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges).

• Strong mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills.

• Ability to stand, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift; willingness to work overtime.
