Crew Leader – Help Launch a Brand-New Warehouse Operation
Pay Rate: $23+ per hour
Schedule: 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM
Position 1: Sunday-Thursday
Position 2: Wednesday-Sunday
Assignment Length: Temp-to-Hire (T2H)
Our client is seeking 2 Crew Leaders to join a brand-new warehouse operation in Auburn, Maine. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a warehouse launch, take on a leadership role, and help build a successful operation from the ground up. These positions pay $23-$24/hour and are Temp-to-Hire opportunities.
This is an ideal role for experienced logistics professionals who enjoy leading teams, driving operational efficiency, and developing employees in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Enjoy a later morning start, daytime finish, and two consecutive days off each week.
Typical daily duties:
- Lead a team of 15-20 warehouse material handlers to receive, pick, and process orders
- Utilize operational metrics to identify improvement opportunities and implement action plans
- Coordinate the dispatch of contract carriers and resolve transportation issues throughout the day
- Train and develop contract carriers, dispatchers, and warehouse personnel to exceed customer expectations
What we're looking for:
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience
- At least 5 years of logistics, warehouse, transportation, or supply chain experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to pass a background check
