Our client, a leader in logistics and distribution services, is seeking a Distribution Pallet Sorter to join their team. As a Distribution Pallet Sorter, you will be part of the warehouse operations team supporting pallet sorting and material handling. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a strong work ethic, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Distribution Pallet Sorter
Location: Salt Lake City, UT
Pay Range: $19
Shift: Monday - Friday 1pm - 9pm
What's the Job?
- Hand sort pallets by grade, ensuring all trash and debris are removed prior to returning to customers
- Achieve production requirements while maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Load and unload materials from trailers manually
- Move pallets or materials around the warehouse using stand-up or stand-down forklifts
- Inspect loads for security and verify conformance to quality standards
What's Needed?
- Good math, language, and reading skills with attention to detail
- Basic computer skills and ability to complete production paperwork accurately
- Ability to work in extreme conditions, including heat, cold, and airborne particulates
- Physical ability to lift up to 50-75 pounds repeatedly and stand for entire shifts
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
