Driver

Our client, located at the port of Freeport is seeking 7 Drivers to join their team. As a Driver, the ideal candidate will have strong safety awareness, reliable time management, and clear communication which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Driver

Location: Freeport, TX

Pay Range: $16

Shift: 7am - 4pm M-F

What's the Job?

• Operate company vehicles safely and responsibly while following all traffic laws and company policies.
• Transport goods, materials, or personnel to assigned locations within scheduled timeframes.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any issues or maintenance needs promptly.
• Maintain accurate records related to routes, deliveries, mileage, and any required documentation.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members to confirm pickup and delivery details.

What's Needed?

• Valid driver license
• Must obtain a TWIC Card
• Proven ability to drive safely and follow established procedures.
• Ability to manage time effectively and complete assignments within required windows.
• Comfort working independently while staying responsive to dispatch and operational needs.
• Basic understanding of vehicle inspection practices and documentation expectations.

¿Cuál será tu trabajo?

• Conducir vehículos de la empresa de manera segura y responsable, cumpliendo las leyes de tránsito y las políticas internas.
• Transportar mercancías, materiales o personal a los destinos asignados dentro de los tiempos programados.
• Realizar inspecciones del vehículo antes y después del recorrido, reportando cualquier problema o necesidad de mantenimiento de forma oportuna.
• Mantener registros precisos relacionados con rutas, entregas, kilometraje y la documentación requerida.
• Comunicarte con efectividad con el equipo de despacho para confirmar detalles de recogida y entrega.

¿Qué necesitas?

• Credenciales de conductor válidas según lo requerido para el puesto (requisitos de credenciales: 100035, 100038).
• Experiencia comprobable para conducir con seguridad y seguir procedimientos establecidos.
• Capacidad para administrar el tiempo de manera efectiva y completar asignaciones dentro de los plazos requeridos.
• Comodidad para trabajar de forma independiente, manteniéndote atento/a a las necesidades operativas.
• Conocimiento básico sobre prácticas de inspección del vehículo y expectativas de documentación.
