Our client, a leading food production company, is seeking a Forklift Operator to join their team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be part of the production department. 
 

Job Title: Forklift Operator

Location: Manteno, IL

Pay Range: $20 - $22.50

Shift: 3rd shift

What's the Job?
Forklift Driver is responsible for moving goods, loaded pallets and equipment safely and securely. In addition to driving forklifts, a Forklift Driver also has a range of other warehouse duties such as packaging shipments or checking inventories.

What's Needed?

• Qualified individuals must be at least 18 years old to work in the food manufacturing environment. 
• Ability to follow work instruction and keep pace of shipping department is required. Individual must have thorough understanding of shipping policies and procedures.
• Effective communication skills are needed to support forklift team. 
• This position requires incumbent to have keen attention to detail and experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Individual will need to pass certification.
• The individual must be able to perform each essential job duty and responsibility satisfactorily. Individual must have good hand/eye coordination and excellent motor skills to operate necessary machinery safely.
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
