Forklift Operator - 2nd Shift

Location: Coxsackie, NY
Shift: 2nd Shift
Pay Rate: $23.00 per hour

Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our 2nd shift team. The Forklift Operator will be responsible for moving materials and finished products throughout a manufacturing and warehouse environment while ensuring safety, accuracy, and efficiency in all operations.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate sit-down and/or stand-up forklifts.
• Load, unload, transport, stack, and stage materials and products.
• Supply production lines with materials to support manufacturing operations.
• Move finished goods to designated warehouse or shipping locations.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and report any maintenance concerns.
• Maintain accurate inventory and material movement records.
• Assist with shipping, receiving, and warehouse activities as needed.
• Adhere to all safety policies, procedures, and OSHA regulations.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
• Work effectively with supervisors and team members to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• Previous forklift experience required.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Basic computer and inventory tracking skills preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
• Ability to work around moving equipment and in a warehouse setting.
• Ability to operate a forklift for extended periods.
