Our client, a leader in the furniture industry, is seeking a dedicated and hardworking General Labor Movers to join their team. As a General Labor Movers, you will be supporting the logistics and setup team during a high-profile event, contributing to a seamless and successful furniture market experience. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, physical stamina, and a team-oriented mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: General Labor Movers
Location: High Point, NC
Pay Range: $16/hr
Shift: 1st shift
What's the Job?
- Move, load, unload, and position furniture throughout showrooms and event spaces
- Assist with showroom setup and breakdown to ensure a smooth event flow
- Lift and carry heavy furniture consistently throughout the shift
- Work as part of a team to meet project deadlines and maintain efficiency
- Follow safety procedures while handling furniture and materials to ensure a safe working environment
What's Needed?
- Ability to perform heavy lifting on a consistent basis
- Reliable transportation and strong attendance record
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
- Previous furniture moving, warehouse, or general labor experience preferred
- Prior experience with High Point Furniture Market is a plus
