Industrial Laborer/Rubber Shop

Manpower in Huntington, WV is looking for a dependable and hardworking Rubber Processing Shop Technician for a client in the tri-state area. This position involves operating machinery, handling raw rubber materials, monitoring production quality and helping maintain a safe and efficient shop environment. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a hands-on industrial setting.

Responsibilities

• Operate rubber processing equipment and production machinery
• Monitor material quality and production consistency
• Load and unload raw materials and finished products
• Perform routine equipment cleaning and basic maintenance
• Follow workplace safety procedures and wear required PPE
• Maintain accurate production records and communicate issues to supervisors
• Keep work areas clean and organized

• Previous manufacturing or industrial shop experience preferred
• Experience with rubber processing, molding, extrusion, or fabrication is a plus
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Basic mechanical skills and attention to detail
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Must be able to pass drug screen and background check 

Pay: $17.50/hr
