Machine Assistant

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Machine Assistant to join their team. As a Machine Assistant, you will be part of the manufacturing operations supporting Converting, Rewinding, or Coating departments. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Machine Assistant

Location: Appleton, WI

Pay Range:$18-$20

Shift: Days & Nights (10, 12 hours)

What's the Job?

• Support manufacturing operations within the Converting, Rewinding, or Coating departments.
• Assist production teams with hands-on tasks and learn multiple roles to support machine efficiency.
• Prepare and stage rolls for mounting on sheeters, rewinders, or coating presses as a Roll Tender.
• Wrap and prepare finished paper products, including rolls, sheets, or boxed paper, as a Packaging Operator.
• Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts to transport products safely and efficiently.

What's Needed?

• No prior experience required; entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Willingness to learn multiple support roles within manufacturing operations.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing or production environments is a plus.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards in a fast-paced setting.
