Our client, MPUSA is seeking a Machine Operator to join their team. As a Machine Operator, you will be part of the production floor supporting manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, a focus on quality, and the drive to meet daily production goals—skills that will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Machine Operator

Location: Cranston, RI

Pay Range:$20.35 - $22.35 (after 90 day review)

Shift:  Second Shift 4P - 12:30A

What's the Job?

  • Perform setup for various manufacturing machines and equipment to support production.
  • Operate computer-operated and/or mechanical machines to produce parts and products according to Manufacturing Process Sheets (MPS) and Bills of Material (BOM).
  • Review job information in the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system daily to determine orders to process.
  • Manually load materials into machines, maintain inventory of materials needed for production orders, and place finished parts into proper bins.
  • Complete periodic checks and daily routine maintenance, perform standard tests after each operation, and update the ERP for work performed.

What's Needed?

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 months of machine operation experience, preferably in a production environment.
  • Competence operating computer systems and completing basic data entry in ERP or related systems.
  • Ability to learn assigned responsibilities and follow production procedures; able to attain MPS training sign-off within 90 days.
  • Physical ability to push, pull, lift, and/or move materials up to 30 lbs; use hoists for materials over 30 lbs, and perform repetitive work requiring constant alertness.

What's the Job?

  • Realizar el setup de diversas máquinas y equipos de manufactura para respaldar la producción.
  • Operar máquinas computarizadas y/o mecánicas para fabricar piezas y productos conforme a las Manufacturing Process Sheets (MPS) y Bills of Material (BOM).
  • Revisar diariamente la información de órdenes en el sistema Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) para determinar qué órdenes procesar.
  • Cargar manualmente materiales en las máquinas, mantener inventario de materiales necesarios para las órdenes de producción y colocar las piezas terminadas en los bins correspondientes.
  • Realizar verificaciones periódicas y mantenimiento rutinario diario, efectuar pruebas estándar después de cada operación y actualizar el ERP con el trabajo realizado.

What's Needed?

  • Preferentemente: High School Diploma o equivalente.
  • Mínimo de 3 meses de experiencia operando máquinas, idealmente en un entorno de producción.
  • Capacidad para operar computadoras y realizar captura de datos básica en sistemas/ERP.
  • Habilidad para aprender responsabilidades asignadas y seguir procedimientos de producción; lograr la capacitación de MPS con firma dentro de 90 días.
  • Capacidad física para empujar, jalar, levantar y/o mover materiales de hasta 30 lbs; usar polipastos/ayudas para materiales de más de 30 lbs, y realizar trabajo repetitivo con atención constante.
