Material Handler - US

Our client is seeking a Material Handler to join their team. As a Material Handler, you will be part of the Corrugator department supporting the Baler, Shredder, and Sorting area. The ideal candidate will have a strong safety mindset, the ability to follow production orders accurately, and the drive to keep work areas organized and productive.

Job Title: Material Handler

Location: Lancaster, OH

Pay Range: $20

Shift: Mon. to Fri. 8am to 4pm

What's the Job?

• Operate and oversee all aspects of the Baler, Shredder, and Sorting area
• Sort good product from damaged product to support correct routing through the plant
• Feed materials into the shredder for recycling while maintaining safe, efficient workflow
• Read and understand waste tickets and bale tickets to identify bad board from good board
• Maintain safe work habits and good housekeeping practices in the work area

What's Needed?

• Ability to lift 30–50 pounds occasionally, with frequent bending, twisting, and kneeling
• Demonstrated safe work habits, including wearing required PPE and identifying/reporting work hazards
• Knowledge of machine controls and respective functions for the baler/shredder/sorting area
• Ability to read and understand production orders (waste ticket and bale ticket) and follow product routing
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform pushing/pulling tasks occasionally
