Package Handler Seasonal Positions

Our client, logistics and mail processing operations is seeking a Package Handler Seasonal Positions to join their team. As a Package Handler Seasonal Positions, you will be part of the Domestic Mail Sorting team supporting daily processing needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of accuracy, the ability to work at a steady pace under pressure, and a team-first mindset that helps keep operations running smoothly.

Job Title: Package Handler Seasonal Positions

Location: West Jordan, UT

Pay Range: 18 to 18.50 an hour ($3 additional on peak season)

Shift: 2nd and 3rd shift available 

What's the Job?

• Perform domestic United States mail processing by ensuring mail is correctly sorted, clearly printed, and that labels are placed correctly.
• Sort all mail by sort area requirements and follow company quality process standards.
• Meet sorting production quota standards while maintaining consistent quality.
• Inspect each piece of mail to ensure indicia are affixed correctly and that the zip code on the indicia matches the address zip code.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area; duties may include reassignment to alternate operational areas as business needs require.

What's Needed?

• Ability to pass a Background Check and Drug Test.
• Understand and carry out oral instructions.
• Ability to sort alphabetically and numerically.
• Ability to work under pressure and rapidly for long periods of time.
• Understand standardized math processes (e.g., count, addition, subtraction).
