Parts Cleaner- Project

Our client, an industrial manufacturing support team, is seeking a Parts cleaner for a project to join their team in Suffolk, VA. As a Parts cleaner, you will be part of the operations support group helping keep companion flange components ready for the next steps in production. If you take pride in careful, detail-oriented work and enjoy hands-on tasks, this short-term opportunity is a great way to contribute immediately.

Job Title: Parts Cleaner

Location: Suffolk, VA

Pay Range: $18.00/hr

Shift: Monday-Friday 7:30-4:30 (lunch break 11:30-12:30)

What's the Job?

• Unpack, sort, and prepare companion flange parts for processing
• Clean rust from companion flanges using appropriate cleaning methods and tools
• Handle parts carefully to maintain quality while working efficiently
• Keep the work area organized and follow established safety and handling procedures
• Complete tasks within the assigned short-term project timeline (approximately 3-4 weeks)

What's Needed?

• Ability to perform repetitive, hands-on cleaning and sorting tasks with attention to detail
• Comfort working with parts that weigh approximately 3-4 lbs each
• Reliability and punctuality for a Monday-Friday schedule
• Willingness to follow safety procedures and work instructions closely
• Basic readiness to work in a fast-paced project environment for approximately 3-4 weeks
