Production Worker

Entry-Level Production Workers - Carol Stream, IL

Our client, manufacturing is seeking Production Workers to join their team. As a Production Worker, you will be part of the production team supporting daily operations.

Location: Carol Stream, IL

Pay Range: $20.16

Shift: 6am-6:30pm rotating shift

What's the Job?

• Operate assigned machinery and/or equipment and perform safe loading/unloading of materials in accordance with Operational Standard Work and supervisor instructions.
• Perform routine activities associated with assembly and molding machine operations, including setup as required.
• Follow all applicable safety policies and practices, including proper use of required PPE, ensuring machine guards and safety features are working, and promoting safe work habits.
• Remove products from molding machines and/or operate riveting machines; package products as required, including counting, labeling, and boxing into Gaylords.
• Measure finished parts with precision tools, detect quality defects, maintain production logs/records, inspect equipment prior to use, and perform basic routine adjustments and maintenance.

What's Needed?

• Ability to interpret and translate job specifications for production machinery, prints, and work instructions.
• Fundamental understanding of production equipment or the ability to quickly learn production equipment and processes.
• Comfort with routine production tasks such as packaging, labeling, counting, and quality checks.
