Our client, a leading retail organization specializing in outdoor apparel and footwear, is seeking a Project Assembler to join their team. As a Project Assembler, you will be part of the store setup and merchandising support team supporting new store openings. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, adaptability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Project Assembler
Location: Cape Girardeau, MO
Pay Range: $20 / hour
Shift: Various shifts as scheduled, including early mornings and full-day shifts
What's the Job?
- Unload merchandise from trucks and unpack freight and boxes
- Assemble fixtures and move boxes and merchandise to designated areas
- Assist with general cleaning and store setup activities
- Support the merchandise preparation process for the new store opening
- Operate forklifts and other equipment as needed, with proper training and certification
What's Needed?
- Ability to work early mornings and full-day shifts as scheduled
- Willingness to perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving merchandise
- Reliable transportation to and from the work site
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and dress code requirements
- Previous experience with warehouse or store setup is a plus but not required
