Warehouse Workers Needed - Chicago
Our client, industry-leading logistics and storage solutions provider, is seeking Warehouse Associates to join their team. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be part of the operations support team, contributing to efficient storage and retrieval processes.
Job Title: Warehouse Associate
Location: Chicago, IL
Pay Rate: $17.68
Shift: 8am-4:30pm
What's the Job?
- Process orders and move boxes of files, books, and materials manually
- Lift and carry boxes weighing from 10 to 100 lbs regularly without assistance
- Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely
- Load and unload pallets and boxes onto trucks and storage areas
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
What's Needed?
- Minimum of 0 years of experience in warehouse or manual labor roles
- Ability to lift and carry heavy boxes regularly
- Physical stamina to kneel, squat, reach, and bend frequently
- Basic reading and writing skills in English
- Protective footwear meeting ASTM F2413-11 standards with slip-resistant rating
