Our client, a leading organization in logistics and supply chain management, is seeking a Warehouse lead to join their team. As a Warehouse lead, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting the warehouse team. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Warehouse lead
Location: Bolingbrook, IL
Pay Rate: $21
Shift: Tuesday-Saturday 6am-2:30pm
What's the Job?
- Assign work and monitor group activities to ensure productivity and efficiency
- Instruct associates in proper equipment use, operational procedures, and safety standards
- Oversee inventory management, including monitoring stock levels and merchandise reconciliation
- Ensure team adherence to safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment
- Assist in resolving operational issues to maximize team performance and productivity
What's Needed?
- Minimum of 4 years of warehouse experience
- Experience in a supervisory or leadership role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Availability to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends
