Our client, Industrial is seeking a Machine Operator to join their team. As a Machine Operator, you will be part of the production operation supporting a cross-functional team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, the ability to follow detailed work instructions, and the drive to learn multiple tasks while rotating positions to help the team succeed.

Job Title: Machine Operator

Location: Thorp, WI

Pay Range: $19.00 - $21.50 per hour

Shift: 1st shift and 2nd shift (4-day work week, Monday–Thursday)

What's the Job?

  • Perform pre-operation machine inspection and prepare materials by loading screws and hinges.
  • Sort and push door stacks down the conveyor tracks to keep production moving.
  • Use a mallet to loosen doors and load hinge machines with bifold door panels for hinging.
  • Inspect and ensure hardware is aligned and applied correctly prior to push-off; direct rejected doors to repair and remakes as requested.
  • Maintain safe, clean operations by being LOTO certified and using an air gun during clean up; assist with tasks like pulling off cullboards, changing bits, and restocking rails.

What's Needed?

  • Preferably 1 year of experience in a manufacturing setting working in a similar role.
  • HS Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
  • Comfort working on a computer, using a tape measure and caliper, and using hand and power tools.
  • Strong math skills (add/subtract fractions and whole numbers, convert fractions to decimals), plus the ability to read, follow, and understand work instructions; ability to do small repairs on doors.
