Our client, manufacturing is seeking a Heavy Assembler 2nd Shift to join their team. As a Heavy Assembler 2nd Shift, you will be part of the production team supporting assembly operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, the ability to follow simple work instructions, and the stamina to perform hands-on assembly work in a fast-paced environment.

Job Title: Heavy Assembler 2nd Shift

Location: Corona, CA

Pay Range: $19/HR

Shift: 2nd Shift - MONDAY - FRIDAY, 1:30PM - 10PM

What's the Job?

  • Follow operating practices for applicable machinery to support proper assembly, set up, and shut down.
  • Read and follow simple work instructions to manually assemble parts.
  • Load and unload material, parts, or products onto or from pallets and racks.
  • Deliver metal parts or stock to designated work areas for machining.
  • Remove metal chips and shavings from machine surfaces and wipe surfaces to remove excess oil; separate chips, shavings, and scrap into scrap bins for resale.

What's Needed?

  • Ability to perform low-complexity mechanical assembly work with a focus on manual dexterity.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 10 pounds regularly, frequently lift and move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to read limited two- and three-syllable words, recognize similarities and differences between words, and recognize series of numbers.
  • Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and multiply/divide with 10s and 100s, including using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions in standardized situations.
