Assistant Lead Packaging Department

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in packaging solutions, is seeking an Assistant Lead Packaging Dept, Swing Shift to join their team. As an Assistant Lead Packaging Dept, Swing Shift, you will be part of the Packaging Department supporting the production team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, leadership qualities, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Assistant Lead Packaging Dept, Swing Shift

Location: Clackamas, OR

Pay Range: $21.00/ Hourly

Shift: Swing Shift (Monday – Thursday, 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM)

What's the Job?

• Support the Packaging Lead and Manager in overseeing daily packaging and repack production activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, policies, and operating procedures.
• Assist in maintaining production goals, quality standards, and operational efficiency.
• Provide hands-on support on the production floor, including training and mentoring team members.
• Help coordinate onboarding and ongoing employee training programs.

What's Needed?

• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 6 months' experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Previous forklift experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
