Driver Helper I

Our client, food distribution industry is seeking a Driver Helper I to join their team. As a Driver Helper I, you will be part of the logistics support team supporting delivery operations. The ideal candidate will have strong physical stamina, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Driver Helper I

Location: West Jordan, UT

Pay Range: $19

Shift: Monday - Saturday, starting as early as 4:00 AM, with Sundays off

What's the Job?

• Assist delivery drivers with unloading food products from trailers using hand trucks, dollies, or other equipment
• Verify delivery accuracy by checking orders, inspecting product quality, and rotating stock as needed
• Provide professional customer service by addressing delivery concerns and escalating issues when necessary
• Secure products in the truck to prevent damage during transport
• Count and verify inventory, complete necessary paperwork, and identify missing items or shortages

What's Needed?

• Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 90 pounds
• Comfortable starting work early in the morning (as early as 4 AM)
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Basic math skills for inventory counting and documentation
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
