Forklift Operator

Our client, industry leader in heavy industrial operations, is seeking a Forklift Driver - 2nd Shift to join their team. As a Forklift Driver - 2nd Shift, you will be part of the logistics and warehouse support team, ensuring efficient loading, moving, and handling of materials. The ideal candidate will demonstrate previous forklift skills, safety and good attendance  which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Forklift Driver - 2nd Shift

Location: Altavista, VA

Pay Range: $16.55

Shift: 3:00PM - 11:30PM

What's the Job?

• Operate gasoline, diesel, electric, or propane-powered industrial trucks equipped with lifting devices such as forklifts, elevating platforms, or buckets.
• Assist in loading and unloading materials to ensure timely and safe handling.
• Conduct routine safety checks on equipment before use to maintain a safe working environment.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and materials handled.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency.

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of previous experience operating industrial trucks.
• Proof of education, drug screen, and background check required.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and lift heavy loads.
• Strong attention to safety protocols and procedures.
