Our client is seeking a Forklift Operator to join their team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be part of the Warehouse Operations team supporting daily material movement, inventory accuracy, and safe warehouse execution. The ideal candidate will have a strong safety mindset, hands-on warehouse experience with WMS, and the ability to stay organized while adapting to changing priorities.
Job Title: Forklift Operator
Location: Riverside, CA
Pay Rate: $21/hour
Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm
What's the Job?
- Maintain an organized, standard warehouse layout and manage all material movement throughout the warehouse.
- Ensure the safety and security of warehouse inventory and equipment while operating a forklift.
- Unload shipments, process receipts, and put away material to support inventory accuracy.
- Perform transactions in Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) to account for receiving, stocking, issuing, and returns to vendor.
- Drive inventory integrity through daily cycle counts and physical inventory checks, while keeping auditable records for shipping and receiving.
What's Needed?
- Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience.
- Oracle experience preferred.
- Warehouse and forklift operation experience, including sit-down, stand-up cherry picker, and pallet jack rider.
- Ability to proactively solve problems, take the lead on improvements, and quickly adapt to priority changes.
- Strong commitment to safety policies and procedures, including identifying and reporting safety hazards and encouraging safe practices in the team.
